'You', 2014

You is a video installation that plays out an internal battle. The viewer is presented with a sequence that continuously turns in on itself like a mobius strip; revealed through a rhythmic pulse. The densely silent underwater environment acts as a metaphor for an internal space, where both viewer and subject are caught in an eternal present moment. The thick liquidity of the space resists the impact of the figure’s throws, gradually falling in and out of time with the relentlessly unswerving sonic pulse.
